MOON PRESS TOUR

Each video game title usually requires a press tour to spread the news of the game. It also serves as a great excuse to hang out with the fine folks in press land.

Gregg and I flew to California to spread the good word of Moon. Mastiff's Tom Gaubatz and Bill Swartz, and MMPR's David Bruno and Michael Myers joined the kids on the Moon Press Tour.

Gregg and I jumped onto the 7:01am flight from Austin to San Francisco on Wednesday, January 14.

We arrived in SF at 9:00am.

We were greeted by Tom and Michael at the airport, who immediately whisked us off to our hotel: the Westin on Market Street in downtown San Francisco.

Gregg tried to find some phone reception in the car.
Tom was the co-polit.
Michael was the man behind the wheel.
And I was still trying to wake up a bit.
We quickly settled into our default relaxed poses in the hotel room.
Bam! Check out that awesome view of San Francisco from our room!
We headed over to the IGN offices to hang out with (young) Snake.
Craig Harris was also around somewhere. :)

We also showed off Moon to some press folk in our hotel lobby.

After a long day we all went to dinner to eat some great food at the Elite Cafe.

The following day we continued to show off the goodness of Moon. Here we see Hamza, Gregg and David each playing Moon... who says we need wi-fi? :)
The next morning, we flew down to Los Angeles.
We all headed over to G4 for some on-camera action. Tom and I were rushed into make-up. Yikes!
X-Play's Ben Winter threw some hard questions at us.

The whole posse jumped in for a group shot. Nice lighting!
We wiped off the make-up and dashed over to the IGN offices (LA).

Where we were greeted by the dynamic duo: Matt and Mark.
We took a peek into IGN's podcast room. Is that a bottle of Jack? Nice!

We all went out to Union Cattle restaurant for a bite to eat. Excellent steak!
And then we went out for a drink... or two... or three?
Mark struck a pose. We talked games.
And then we moved to a different bar for more drinks and finger pointing.
We threw Matt into the trunk of the car.
And that marked the end of the Moon Press Tour.
